Fishing in the Atlantic Ocean

The main advantage of fishing in the Atlantic Ocean is the broad variety of saltwater fish. The ocean is a rougher experience compared to fishing in the sea or fjords, but the landscape is unrivalled.

Fishing in the Atlantic Ocean

Ocean fishing is possible in a wide range of weather conditions, but requires a degree of preparedness to the harsh conditions. Fishing is also possible during the winter months if waters are ice-free and the weather permits. No fishing permit required.

Equipment

Ocean fishing is best done with deep sea fishing rods and spinning rods. We rent out a ship (accompanied by an experienced captain/guide) for excursions into the open ocean.
